    Julian Burnett injury

This is bad news. Hope the best for this hard working young man. This could be a huge loss for this team from a physical and emotional/leadership standpoint. Wish him the best recovery possible.

Yeesh...not good to hear. That kid is a warrior...I wish every GT player had his heart. I hope he gets better.

Reminds me of how we lost (football wise) both Gathers and Hollings in the prime of their careers.

Wow. That is too bad. I just want him to get better, regardless if he ever plays football again. Obviously, he is a very passionate kid who has worked very hard to perform at the level he has, given his size limitations etc. I would love to see him reach any and all of his personal goals, but, whether he does or doesn't, sports are temporary, for everybody. Life goes on. He will go on, and very proudly I'm sure. There is a whole other life after sports. He will find something that will spark his passion and make him happy.

I really hope to have him on the field this year, but if not, I will always regard him as one of the finest GT athletes ever.

Good luck kid, and thanks for all of your efforts! You owe us fans absolutely nothing because you left it all on the field, 100%.

I was worried that this could be a serious injury after seeing the replay and watching him walk off the field. Best wishes to him for recovery, whether it includes football or not. Either way, his hard work and accomplishments on the field for GT will not be forgotten.

Wow, JB is probably my favorite player on the team, he was told by many recruiters that he was too small to play at this level because of his size. But JB proved many of his pundits wrong because that kid played with "heart!" As I have said many times before you give me 12 JB type players and I will whoop your team any day of the week.

Good luck young man, I wish you a speedy and complete recovery and THANK YOU for coming to the flats and wearing the White & Gold!!!!

    TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!!!
