Am I too optimistic to think we can land all five???
And does anybody know of any transfers he is referring to? It would nice if we could lure in another Choice or AA![]()
Well, this part was extremely interesting from Miles Jones:
Said Jones, “Georgia Tech said that I’m the No. 1 running back they are recruiting. They may have a few transfers coming in, so they have to see how it’s going to go.”
Transfers or transfer RBs? If transfer RBs, must be some pretty good ones....hmm....
The AJC is pretty lame in its recruiting knowledge. I think there are guys we are looking at who aren't on that list. All I know is it's a two horse race between Alabama & GT for Tomlinson. Might be some info out there on the Alabamba side of things.
I will say from observing this staff we are very likely to have at least one commit from someone with very few offers who we have been keeping quiet. It keeps other schools from having much time to work them once they come on the radar screen. We only have 2 OL and we haven't offered the Jones kid to my knowledge so I'd say A back & OL are the likely mystery guys.
I hope the kicker is the last guy to sign, because TOmlinson, Shumate and McAllister have to be the priorities. Jones will accept any offer, but I'd like to know what he means about transfers. Either a guy coming here or the possibility of someone leaving. I want Tomlinson and Shumate, that would take our class to a high level. With a bunch of defensive talent.
Really depends on how many scholarships we can give. If no attrition, the supposed number is about 17.
We must've went well over our allotment in recent years.

11 out of 12. When will this stop?
Bobby Godd never, not once, ever blamed his boys for a loss. It was always on his shoulders, and his shoulders alone. That is greatness. This is not. --YukonWreck

Can we just offer that Jones kid?
That made me inexplicably sad for some reason.
Yeah it is kinda sad actually, he really seems to want to come here.
