If he does end up leaving GT, I have even wondered whether or not Vad Lee might want to transfer to OSU to play for Urban Meyer.
In the past GT football has often been JUST GOOD ENOUGH TO BREAK YOUR HEART!

I believe we are on the way to getting where we all want to be - Win Championships, and be more competitive with UGa and Bowl Games.

QB's looking up, WR's coming along(?), Welcome CTR, CMP and new AD, We have some good recruiters with a good class coming, Stamps back to ST's, all 3 phases should be better this year than last. We have team speed to match anyone we play.

    What's not to like?

I think UM saw the writing on the wall at UF. He had hitched his wagon to a QB that was going to sink the ship.

That was a funny piece. I couldn't help but think while reading it that once again Urban Meyer, named for a pope of all things, lied through his teeth throughout the process, proving yet again what one critic claimed: you can't believe a word Urban Meyer says. But if Meyer was going to coach again, OSU is the place. Unlike Florida with Miami, Florida, FSU and several colleges with growing programs, OSU is still the dominant program in Ohio, with the Miamis, Bowling Greens, Toledos, etc., far down in the second tier. Tough conference with great opponents, but he will have his choice of players in a talent-rich state. I'm betting that Florida competition for the blue chippers drove him out of coaching as much as anything. Well, temporarily out of coaching. (Before OSU, "the only job I would take", as I recall it was Notre Dame that was his "dream job." Oh, yeah. We covered the veracity angle already.

Urban Meyer gave his family the pink slip a long time ago.

Someone's going to have to 'splain to me how leaving a job that has you on the road about half the time during the season and signing up for one that has him on the road EVERY game during the season let's him spend more time with his family.

I'm not saying he made a bad choice to be a College HC or an ESPN talking head, but neither one of those jobs leaves a lot of family time left over. That soap don't wash down here in Perry, GA.
