    A needed breakthrough

wow, beat a real team fairly easily as Md is stung.
Of course it took the 3rd best FT shooting performance in GT history by Miller in a breakout inside effort.(12-12 for 16 pts)Also the best scoring by mecurial B Reed maybe ever at Tech .
This is what EVERY visitor to Tech should expect- a confident strong def and a fluid scoring Off which doesn't kill itself.(good asst/TO ratio and good FT%(74). -----still stinking with 32% 3s% butwhatever

the only downside is that next yr we won't get Md but Pitt and Syracuse--hmmm

Good result - MD was favored and we beat them by 10.

Of the three last games, we should beat BC, NCState at home is tough and Miami @ Miami is fricking impossible.

Then we get one ACC championship game which I hope we win. (The next day all the contenders lose to the top 4 in the ACC tourny.)

If we win 3 of 4, maybe we make NIT. Doubtful right now since rpi of 98. Fortunately, this team didn't pack it in and played tough to win last night. They have self respect and didn't quit.

Best overall win over a quality opponent.
If Tech splits the next two an NIT berth is in reach.

Just don't see making the NIT w/o at 3 more wins.

I sure would like to see us play in the NIT as well. I just don't see it either.

If we can continue to improve on things (win or lose)........I will be just as happy going into next season.

NIT and NCAAT loves coaches engineering a turnaround. We might just catch a break if we either can beat the Wolfcrack or ThugU, take care of BC on the road, then follow up with a 1-1 showing in the ACCT.
