I'm not sold

Tell me how CBG is better than CPH?
Where has the team improved?
Defense? Nope
In bound play? Nope
Rebounding? Nope
Scoring? Hell No
Free Throw Shooting? Hell No
and it damn sure isn't record when comparing their first two seasons.
How longer is Tech willing to wait for the turnaround?

You need to be patient and give Coach Gregory 4-5 years to get his own players and install his system. Besides, he won't be fired until the GTAA gives him a healthy raise and an extension first. That is what happened with Hewitt and Chan and Paul Johnson has his healthy extension and raise helping to keep him employed.

The team is a lot more consistent. But we've got to get better talent, and recruiting 3 stars isn't going to cut it, I think we'll make the tournament next year or come close and then start competing near the top of the ACC every year after that.

I'm depressed too after the bipolar play of this team. I turned the game off after the first half when we missed all 6 of our FTs.

We are better than last year, but deserved of our 100 or so RPI.

First sentence is truth, even though you don't like it. The upperclassmen we currently have are not guys that you need to be relying on as much we are. I don't know that Gregory is the answer; he may well not be. But I am going to give him the chance to see where we are with these freshman as juniors/seniors. This program was at dumpster fire level when he took the reigns.

CBG and his staff are doing a good job with this team. We all know they are NIT at best this year.Things will improve in the future. Give the coach a little more time.PH destoyed GT basketball.

How can you say that when two years before he was fired GT was in the tournament and had one of the top recruits in the nation.

But what did he leave? NOTHING

We have improved on defense under him. We allow the fourth fewest points in the ACC right now. It's the offense that needs some help.
