Just trying to be a "positive Pablo", but I really do hope our boys pull a rabbit out of the hat and get the W.

Looks like our typical 2nd half nosedive

    yep. trademark Tech basketball.

and I'm starting to wonder what our recruiting team saw in Solomon Poole. 4 of the worst shots I've ever seen in bball - one of them an air ball.

yea that is true, but i mean did you see some of those shots? in real time it looked like he just tossed the ball up in the air and expected it to fall in to the hoop. and he went 0-8.

i hope he doesn't bring the 'one and done i'm going to the nba so i dont care about working hard' attitude to the locker room.

also, FT shooting is killing us. it's been a problem since the PH era.

it's just so disappointing when you watch the boys play well in the first half to give you some hope - only to throw it all away in the 2nd.

I didn't watch. After watching almost every game till last night, I'll take a sabbatical till we win a game. The VT game still stings a lot, not for what VT did, but what we did to ourselves.

CBG will make this team a lot better in years to come. The passing and D is much better. The free throw shooting is inexcusable. Making shots will get better as the kids get less intimidated which will come with experience. Till then, I'd rather not watch sausage being made.

We're just so young. I believe we started 3 freshman last night. Experience counts.

First time I have watched Tech all year. I watched for 15-20 minutes. Tech looked more athletic than Duke and played solid defense when I watched. But they also had a tendency to rush their shots, or even take long shots before they could even have a shot at getting an offensive rebound. But then again maybe they just don't have a lot of good shooters, I don't know.

When you are playing freshmen over experienced juniors and seniors on the bench, can you use the excuse that you are young?

For example, Holsey is a very experienced junior but Greg is starting and playing the freshman, Carter, most of the minutes rather than Holsey. So at the PF position GT is young because they want to be young rather than experienced. Until he got hurt, Jason Morris is a very experienced player, yet Greg is playing the freshman over him.

So if you are playing freshmen over experienced players, how can you use the youth excuse?
