Interesting stats

Tech has been weak on off but the opps have been much worse- bad teams and decent def?
they shoot only 35% total, 30% on 3s, 63 on FTs

our calling card is def

our OFF still struggles, 31% from 3s and 65 from line
the biggest concerns at this point to me are
1.weak FT shooting esp Udofia, a PG at 60%
2. weak overall shooting ,only one guy over 50% and plenty very avg
3. good Off rebs but too weak on Def rebs,we may not have enough big guys that play big(6-8 isn't big these days

Royal is a problem,he shoots 25% incl 0-9 on 3s, the ONLY guy to foul out of games, has 5x more TOs than assts-basically a liability

the Pooles have come in SLOWLY which is what one would expect
this is "learning" growing yr,at least we are not having more TOs than assts

I say CBG should give the Poole brothers a lot of minutes for this game. This is basically their last chance to get some real PT against an weak opponent. Once we enter ACC play there's absolutely no room for error if we're trying to steal an at large tourney bid.
