• Can Tar Heels Stop Vad Lee?

Georgia Tech quarterback Vad Lee played superman last year against North Carolina. The Tar Heels will have to stop the Jackets' high-flying, redshirt sophomore, or it will be another record-setting day at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Last season Lee torched the Tar Heels for 112 yards on the ground and two touchdowns, and completed 10 passes for 169 yards and another touchdown. Along with starter Tevin Washington, Lee helped the Jackets put up 68 points in the Tar Heels' home stadiium.

Lee is coming off an ACC Back of the Week performance against Duke, tossing four touchdown passes and running for another. He became the first Georgia Tech quarterback to throw four touchdown passes in a game since 2006.

Georgia Tech leads the all-time series against North Carolina, 27-18-3 and has won four straight in the series. Since ACC divisional play began in 2005, the Jackets are 26-15 against ACC Coastal opponents.

The Jackets and Tar Heels scored a record-setting 118 points last season, and while the defenses may not be able to slow down these offenses, mother nature might. The weather forecast for Saturday's game is thundershowers.

While the Jackets have struggled the past thee seasons, they have won 7 of their last 10 games. Only 15 other FBS teams have won more games in their last 10.

If the Tar Heels can't slow down Lee, expect a 10+ point victory for the Jackets on Saturday.

      Thanks, stone.

That is a good stat and I expect that we'll be 8 of 11 after today. UNC never seems to match up well against Georgia Tech. I think their talent level is similar, but the Tech kids play harder and smarter.
