The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets reached into the Midwest to grab running back Donovan Wilson.The 6’0” 205 pound Dublin, Ohio running back used his 4.6 speed to gain 1,420 yards last season with 16 touchdowns. As a sophomore he gained 1,206 yards and scored 15 touchdowns.
The Jackets offered Wilson Tuesday afternoon and he pulled the trigger on the offer a few hours later. Wilson claims offers with Air Force, Boston College and Purdue.
Georgia Tech now has two 2013 commits, the first was also a running back. Lovejoy High School’s Travis Custis committed on April 2.
Wilson is rated 3-stars by the national recruiting services.
