• GT Recruit Brandon Kublanow Talks

Brandon Kublanow (2013) is a rugged 6-3 290 pound offensive guard/center who would fit nicely into the Georgia Tech spread option system.

Kublanow helped lead Walton High School to the state championship game this past December against Grayson. The outcome wasn’t what Kublanow and his teammates wanted, but the loss gave them motivation to return next year better than ever.

The cerebral Kublanow has received offers from Georgia Tech. Vanderbilt, Duke and Georgia.

When asked his thoughts on the teams that have offered him thus far, Kublanow was succinct, “I wouldn’t really say there are any leaders right now,” he said.

Plenty more schools will no doubt be offering the big redhead between now and next fall so it will be interesting to see if Georgia Tech will inevitably fit into Kublanow’s plans.

Brandon Kublanow offered quite a bit more regarding his current recruitment and with a Gold Membership we invite you to listen at: GTSportsTalk Interviews.

Seems like most interior OLs we are recruiting nowadays are in the 6-3, 280-290 range. Height and weight doesn't vary much.

      This kid is a winner.

And he is a recruit, not yet a commitment. Maybe we can change that somehow.

You could be right although my impression in speaking with him is that he's wide open right now.

This kid is nicknamed, "The Finisher" for the way he takes pride in finishing his blocks. I hope we get this kid. He has a mean streak and would be a welcome addition to what PJ is trying to build on.

      Go Jackets!
