There has been a lot of talk with Tevin Washington being nominated for this award, and that award, but how good is he really. Undoubtedly, a lot of the fact that he is playing well is because of the system, you run the offense; the unstoppable triple option, toss, sweeps, fake option passes. In a Shotgun Spread offense, I don't think Washington would be effective. In a pro style O also, not very good.

Let's say he does stay consistent and improves going into the 2012 season...

With that in mind, if after his senior season, Washington decides to go to the NFL, how effective, will the quarterback from Wetumpka be?

My opinion is that he will get more opportunities to just focus on passing, he already pretty much has the drop back down because of the Flexbone. And with those more opportunities and the fact that he's more of an accuracy passer than a cannon passer, he will be effective and maybe after some years in his career get to lead a NFL offense.

Great young man but his arm strength is a long ways away from being NFL calibre. Even marginal NFL calibre. Love to see him do it but doubt it will happen.

Perhaps a solid Canadian football league prospect?

Nice guy, but not sure he would start at QB for many BCS teams, much less play QB for any NFL teams.

And this blog was started before the continuance of his now three weeks straight of poor performances. He has proven to not have a strong arm, and in my opinion, not a very accurate one.
