Georgia Tech hasn't had many strong starts over the years. We haven't started even 4-0 since the 1990 team started with five straight wins. Before that, while we were lost in the desert, you have to go back to 1970 for another 5-0 start.

We were 9-0 in 1966 before losing the last two to Georgia and Florida, andstarted 7-0 in 1964. In '56 and '51 we were 6-0. And, of course, 12-0 in 1952. This year we could realistically be 6-0 headed to Virginia, and if we are, I think we could get to 7-0.
